ASARR Medical Camp was an important one of these activities. Through these activities, various primary treatment and health services have been provided to women, children, adolescents, and sick Rohingya Refugees who were suffering from physical deprivation. Free medicines have been provided to them as per the doctor’s prescription.
Early Detection, Referral and Follow up of the Non-Communicable Diseases: The program has been in operation in Syedpur of Nilphamari district, Gangachara of Rangpur district and Aditmari of Lalmonirhat district.
The initiative conducts screening for Hypertension, blood sugar, heart disease, kidney function and symptom of cancer (cervical & breast) and suspected patients are referred to Hospitals or diagnostic centers for confirmation. Moreover, the facility provides nebulization for the patients with breathing difficulties. The intervention also included nutrition for the under 5 children, adolescent girls and expecting and lactating women. The health facilities provide advanced primary health care services to the rural people, Telemedicine for the patients of remote corner.
